Susan Knoppow, Neighbor

Susan Knoppow is co-founder (with Kim Lifton) of Wow Writing Workshop, which teaches college-bound students to write admissions essays to help them stand out from the crowd. Using a straightforward 10-step method, Wow’s writing coaches help students find their voices and put their words on paper.

Susan has taught college- and high school-level creative writing and composition and has created courses on a myriad of subjects for corporate clients nationwide.

Before co-founding Wow Writing Workshop, Susan spent many years as a speechwriter for senior executives at General Motors. Her corporate and non-profit clients include a range of manufacturers, health care organizations and small businesses.

A published poet and essayist, Susan holds a BA in psychology from the University of Michigan and an MFA in writing from Vermont College.
