I live in Berkley & it's been banned for several years now. I am all for a covered pit that is safe not to allow embers escape so as to be a fire hazard. I enjoy sittin around a nice cozy bonfire in an approved fire container, pit, etc. Responsibility & common sense is key. The gathering of a few friends around a bonfire is very soothing & fun!!
