A man was arrested Dec. 3 after running a red light and carrying a concealed pistol with an expired license, according to the Huntington Woods Public Safety Department. The man was driving southbound on Woodward Avenue at 4:38 p.m. when he ran a red light at 11 Mile Road, according to a Huntington Woods Public Safety report. After being stopped, the driver handed the reporting officer his driver's license and a concealed pistol license; he said he was carrying a pistol and his vehicle was a rental, according to the incident report.
