The 911 caller who tipped off the Huntington Woods Public Safety Department to a robbery Monday at Chase Bank followed his instincts after he saw a suspicious-looking man enter the building, an official said. The tipster, a Huntington Woods resident, was in the bank parking lot when he noticed a man wearing a knit cap and white gloves go into the building, Lt. Ron Livingston said Tuesday. A suspect was wounded Monday morning in Pleasant Ridge after fleeing a robbery at the Chase Bank on Woodward Avenue in Huntington Woods. A 911 caller tipped off the Huntington Woods Public Safety Department to the robbery and provided a description of the suspect and his vehicle, Lt. Ron Livingston said Monday afternoon. The branch was robbed just after 10 a.m., according to Royal Oak Police Interim Chief Corrigan O'Donohue, whose department assisted during the incident.
