Berkley 'Stranger Danger' Investigation Continues

"If anybody has any tips or has seen anything, we'll take all calls," Public Safety Officer Andrew Hadfield says. "Just be vigilant and talk to kids about stranger danger."

The Berkley Public Safety Department is continuing to investigate a "stranger danger" incident that occurred last week in the city and all tips are welcome, an official said Thursday. The department is seeking the public's help to find a man impersonating a law enforcement officer who approached two girls Friday evening near the Community Center and touched one of them inappropriately. BPS Officer Andrew Hadfield said the department has received calls from residents and is following up on all tips. There have been no subsequent incidents, he said.
