Inspired by current culinary magazines, cookbooks, traveling abroad, visiting restaurants, and grocery, Thompson develops original recipes.
Dishes include ideas for appetizers, breakfasts, dinners, lunches, graduation specials, barbeque and holiday menus. Holiday menus include dishes for Cinco De Mayo, New Year's Eve and St. Patrick's Day. Some of the dishes include blueberry French toast casserole, guacamole, white bean paste, hummus or spinach dip, portabella mushrooms, roasted peppers, roast beef and horseradish sauce on sliced baguette, antipasto platter with Italian meats, cheeses, marinated vegetable and cheese tortellini.
Creative Cooking is also going green by using earth friendly containers, dishes, utensils, napkins and cleaning supplies such as bamboo, corn and sugar cane plates.
