St Mary's Christian Orthodox Church is located in downtown Berkley on 12 Mile Road. St Mary's mission statement and belief is based in the Nicene Creed. As in the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church and others, Christian Orthodox bishops trace their lineage back to the apostles.

This church hosts a variety of functions, including men and women's groups and Bible classes.  There's plenty of activity for children beyond Sunday school.

Volunteer opportunities are available and include ministry, coffee hour, the Special Olympics, and other missions. Holiday celebrations that feature food, games, and dancing are held to benefit charitable causes.
