My fiancee took her very expensive wedding shoes in to George's to get fixed and they were ruined to the point where they were unwearable. The work itself was poor and for whatever reason the person who worked on the shoes did not use a specific type of glove they are supposed to use(or so i am told) resulting in black smudges all over the shoes. The smudges were some sort of oil/grease combined with what the shoes were made of you could not get them out. You would think as a professional that would be the first thing you would do but based on the work the person who worked on them was hardly professional. Stains or not the work that was done made the shoes extremely uncomfortable, never go here.
