  • The Berkley Orchestra Association and Berkley Instrumental Boosters will hold the annual Tag Days fundraiser from 4-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at 35 businesses throughout town.
  • Open skating will be available at the Berkley Ice Arena noon-1:50 p.m. Friday and 5-6:50 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and kids 12 and younger; skate rental is $3.
  • The annual Gilda's Family Walk & Run to support families touched by cancer starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Royal Oak High School.
  • The inaugural Ferndale Restaurant Week lasts through Sunday, Oct. 13. More than 20 eateries will offer a variety of fixed-price menus ranging from $10 to $30.
  • The Area Agency on Aging 1-B (AAA 1-B) will host the 14th annual Solutions for Family Caregivers Expo on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
