  1. The Berkley School District Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Avery Center in Oak Park. Click here to view the agendas for the meeting and a preceding study session.
  2. Rocker Jill Jack will perform at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, as part of the Concerts in the Park series at Scotia Park in Huntington Woods.
  3. PBS-featured author and lifelong Michigan resident Doc Fletcher will present his canoeing and kayaking program "Paddle Now, Chores Later" at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Huntington Woods Public Library. 
  4. A garage sale will be held Friday, July 12, at 10426 Kingston Ave. in Huntington Woods. Clothes, dishes, glassware, silverware and other household goods will be available. Click here to post your yard sale on Huntington Woods-Berkley Patch!
  5. The Berkley Community Picnic will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Community Center. The free event will include a dunk tank, kids games and a splash zone. Call 248-658-3470 for more information.
