Weekend Countdown: 'Go Green Summer Raffle'
You could win a gas-sipping Vespa scooter or $500 during Our Lady of La Salette's fundraiser.
Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church in Berkley has turned costly winter heating repairs into a chance for community members to win a Vespa scooter or $500.
The "Go Green Summer Raffle" will raise funds to cover the more than $27,000 cost of equipment purchased over the winter to heat the church and parish offices, as well as the gym at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic School and Academy.
First prize is a Vespa scooter. Second prize is $500.
