Aarica McCray, senior, basketball: Aarica McCray was nominated twice this season for Patch Athlete of the Week. She hit a that week and led her team in scoring in two wins, but that’s what she did all season. The senior was the team’s "go to" player on offense and finished the season as the Bears’ leading scorer.

Stephen Wroe, sophomore, hockey: The Berkley-Ferndale goaltender had a phenomenal year in net. The Bears won 20 of the 23 games Wroe started and his numbers show why. He only allowed 1.44 goals a game, with a save percentage of .941. As a sophomore, he was the only goalie in the Oakland Activities Association to play more than 1,000 minutes.  He was honored as part of the Division 1 All-State First team (voted on by the Michigan coaches association) and his coach awarded him team MVP.
