Berkley Bears Baseball Beats Blue Jays, 11-5

Ian Kobernick and Taylor Morrissey help lead Berkley to 5-0 start to the season.

Berkley doubled up Southfield on Wednesday night, beating the Blue Jays 11-5.

Coming off a big game Tuesday, Ian Kobernick was at it again for the Bears against the Blue Jays. He was 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI and a double. He also was the winning pitcher. Kobernick allowed four runs and struck out four over six innings.

Taylor Morrissey also had a big night. He hit a two-run homerun and finished the night 3-for-5 with three RBIs.  Dugan Fernandez was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two walks.
