Bid Farewell to Board of Education President

Marc Katz, whose term ends this month, has served the Berkley School District for 22 years; a public reception in his honor will be held at 6:30 tonight before the regularly scheduled 7 p.m. Board of Education meeting at the Avery Center in Oak Park.

OAK PARK – The invites the public to bid farewell to Board of Education President Marc Katz during before the regularly scheduled 7 p.m. Board of Education meeting at the Avery Center.

Katz, whose term ends this month, has served on the Board of Education for 22 years.

Katz has said he will continue his 28-year career with Kaplan Professional Education, where he conducts seminars for stockbrokers and insurance industry professionals. He also may pursue an opening on the Intermediate School District board as of July 2012.
