  • A public comment period on how to use $9,591 in Community Development Block Grant funding for 2012.
  • Changing the time and location of the Dec. 13 City Commission meeting, based on the presentation of 2010-11 financial statements by city auditors, to 5:30 p.m. at the , with the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Authorizing the sale of $3.05 million in street improvement bonds, as approved by voters in November 2009.
  • Authorizing City Manager Alex Allie and Finance Director Tony Lehmann to appropriate fund balance prior to the 2010-11 city audit's completion in accordance with new provisions of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB No. 45).
  • Authorizing Huntington Woods to participate in the Recylcebank program for two years at no cost. The New York City-based organization lets participants earn points by recycling that can be used for rewards from local or national retailers or to support environmental education in local schools.
  • Authorizing an opt-out resolution to the Michigan Department of Treasury for city employee health care coverage for 2012.
  • Authorizing a special assessment to be levied against the property at 13153 W. 11 Mile Rd. in the amount of $19,274.91 for the cleanup of underground storage tanks.
  • Authorizing a city employee to purchase service credit in the Municipal Employees Retirement System.

The meeting is open to the public, and there will be opportunities for citizen comments.
