Preview: Berkley City Council Meeting
The agenda includes recognizing a resident who recently retired as Michigan's oldest nurse; funding a book about Berkley's history; recommending a liquor license for Vinsetta Garage; and discussing a master plan amendment.
The Berkley City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at to discuss a number of financial and administrative issues.
Also on the agenda are the following items:
- Recognizing Berkley resident Dorothe Canty who, at nearly 90, recently retired as Michigan's oldest nurse.
- Establishing a fund designated for the creation and publication of a hard cover book about Berkley's history.
- Adopting a resolution that recommends the ownership transfer of a liquor license to the property at 27799 Woodward Ave.
- A council work session to dicuss a draft Multi-Modal Transportation
Plan amendment to the master plan.
The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunities for citizen comments.
