Preview: Berkley City Council Meeting

Applicants for the council seat left vacant by Mayor Phil O'Dwyer's election will be discussed during Monday's gathering at City Hall.

The Berkley City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall to discuss applicants and make an appointment to fill the council seat left vacant by Mayor Phil O'Dwyer's election on Nov. 8.

Other agenda items include:

  • Appointing Chelsea Ruthenberg to the Parks and Recreation Advisory
    Board.
  • A second reading of the rezoning of 1722 Eleven Mile Road from Single Family Residential District to Office District to allow a proposed veterinary office to open at the location.
  • Authorizing amendment of the 2011/12 Operating Budget.

The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunities for citizen comments.
