City Halls Open Saturday for Absentee Voting

Huntington Woods and Berkley residents will be able to cast votes from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

and will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday for absentee voting.

For those who can't make it to the polls on Election Day to vote in the and and election, the following are a few helpful guidelines.

  • To vote by absentee ballot, an application must be filled out (see attached PDF), signed and submitted to the city clerk, who will check the signature against one on file, Huntington Woods Clerk/Treasurer Joy Solanskey said.
  • The deadline for when an absentee ballot can be mailed or taken out of the office is 2 p.m. Saturday.
  • The deadline to request an absentee ballot in person is 4 p.m. Monday; the ballot cannot be taken out of the office after this time.
  • All absentee ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
