UPDATED: Berkley City Council to Honor Library Director Celia Morse for 30 Years of Service

Coolidge Highway traffic study report, $10,000 donation to senior transportation program and establishment of Woodward Dream Cruise Committee also are on the agenda Monday night.

The Berkley City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at City Hall; the meeting will be preceded by a Coolidge Highway traffic study open house.

The City Council meeting agenda includes the following items.

  • Celebration of Berkley Public Library Director Celia Morse's 30th anniversary with the city.
  • A report from city engineer Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., and LSL Planning, Inc., on the Coolidge Highway traffic study.
  • Approving a donation of $10,000 from the Beaumont Foundation for the senior transportation program.
  • Adopting a resolution to establish an ad hoc 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise Committee.

The meeting is open to the public and there will be opportunities for citizen comments. It also is available to view live on the city's website.
