Berkley Seeks Presidential Election Workers
A few good people are needed to run polling sites in the city from 6 a.m. until all paperwork is completed after the polls close at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6. Pay is $120 for the day and $15 for attending a training class.
The city of Berkley is seeking a few good people to help out Tuesday, Nov. 6, during the presidential election.
The workday will begin at 6 a.m. and conclude when all paperwork is completed after the polls close at 8 p.m.
"The pay for the day is $120 and training will be held prior. You will be compensated $15 for attending the training class," Mayor Phil O'Dwyer says in his monthly newsletter. "While it is a long day, it is also rewarding and it is a great opportunity to meet many nice people."

Guidelines for elections workers are as follows.
- Volunteers must be age 16 or older.
- If you are 18 or older, you must be a registered voter.
- Volunteers do not have to live in Berkley or Oakland County.
To participate, complete an application (see attached PDF) and return it to City Clerk Cheryl Printz at Berkley City Hall.
