Woman Hits, Pins Berkley Man Under Car at Troy Kroger
The man was listed in critical condition at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
A 69-year-old Berkley man was in critical condition Saturday evening after being struck by a 2011 Cadillac CTS in a parking lot in Troy on Saturday afternoon.
According to a media release, a 78-year-old Franklin, MI, woman was pulling into a parking spot at the Kroger on Coolidge Highway south of Maple just before 2 p.m. when she struck the man, Robert Baldwin, pinning him under the vehicle.
Baldwin sustained serious injuries and had to be extricated by , who inflated air bags to lift the vehicle and extricate Baldwin. Alliance Mobile Health transported Baldwin to Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, where he was in critical condition Saturday afternoon.
