Local Police to Take Back Unwanted Prescription Drugs on Saturday

Huntington Woods Public Safety to participate in the national take-back day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27.

The Drug Enforcement Administration has scheduled a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day for Saturday, April 27.

Local police departments, including the Huntington Woods Public Safety Department, will take back unwanted or unused prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications," a post on the Huntington Woods city web site states.
