Some alleged crimes are bigger head-scratchers than others.
This is one of them.
A 46-year-old Pontiac man told Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies he got an unusual – but urgent – request from two men, one of whom displayed a gun, as they met in the back stairwell of his apartment complex Friday afternoon:
They asked him to take off his pants and give them his watch.
He did as ordered and the gunman and another suspect left, one heading upstairs and the other downstairs.
The victim said he didn’t know the suspects. One of the suspects was described as a darker-complexioned black male; standing about 6-feet, 1-inch tall; weighing about 275 pounds; and wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt. The other man was described as a medium-complexioned black male; standing about 5-feet, 9-inches tall; weighing about 145 pounds; and wearing green and red clothing.Police searched the area in the vicinity of the apartment complex on North Edith, but didn’t find the suspects, according to a news release.
