A woman who called 911 to get a ride home from a Troy restaurant and bar after admitting she’d had too much to drink was arrested on several charges early Friday morning.
Alana Sims, 24, of Sterling Heights made the emergency call about 12:30 a.m., telling police that cab services were all busy and she thought some friends at the police station might be able to give her a ride home,
They gave Sims a ride, but to the jail after charging her with resisting, obstructing and interfering with an officer charge, the television station said.Sims, who remains in the Oakland County Jail after failing to post 10 percent of a $1,500 bond, is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
