Sale proceeds will help support the Berkley Public Library's programs and services.

The Friends of the Berkley Public Library will host their fall book sale on Friday, October 18 (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.), Saturday, October 19 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday, October 20 (12 pm to 4 pm).  The sale will take place at Berkley Public Library located at 3155 Coolidge Highway in Berkley.

Their prices and selection are unbelievable!  Proceeds from this sale help support the library’s programs and services throughout the year.

“We’ve had a huge number of donations so we expect this to be one of the biggest sales for the Friends.  Lots of cookbooks have been coming in so you can pick up a few and try some new recipes for the holidays,” said Nicole Smithson, President of the Friends.

The Friends of the Library provide support for library programs and collections through many fundraising efforts, including spring and fall book sales, the annual membership drive, and special events. Funds raised by the Friends help to pay for programs for people of all ages.  To become a member of the Friends, visitwww.berkley.lib.mi.us/documents/FriendsForm.pdf.
