Mental Health Impact Training
Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority (OCCMHA) is
sponsoring Mental Health Impact Training to address a range of mental health
topics that face law enforcement officers today. The topics will be presented
by mental health and law enforcement professionals and will prove beneficial to
command as well at patrol officers. Day one (10/22/2013) will consist of
classroom lectures and day two (10/23/2-13) will consist of scenario-based
training exercises. Some topics include
mental illness, developmental disabilities, de-escalation tactics, etc. Training will be held from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
