Every child deserves a little Christmas!
The Cpl. Stanley L. Moore Detachment #159 of the Marine Corps League will be hosting a special event: Breakfast with Sgt. Santa, USMC (Ret).
Guests will be entertained by representatives of the U. S. Marine Corps while enjoying a hearty breakfast of pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee created by our very own Marine Corps Cooks all for a nominal donation per person of $2.00 plus a new, unwrapped toy or $5.00 without the toy.
All proceeds will be distributed to children in need of a Christmas present in Wayne and Oakland Counties.
We are asking you to think about the kids you are buying for. Please no stuffed animals (we no longer can distribute them as they harbor germs) we are always in need of gifts for our 9 to 12 year olds, both boys and girls. Craft or hobby kits, makeup kits, electronics, CD’s…you get the idea, are all great choices…make sure the toys are unwrapped and new.
