Nan Wilberding from Home Instead Senior Care will present the program"Alzheimer's Care Techniques to Manage Behaviors". The session is free and open to the public.The educational program will help the caregiver of a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia manage the behaviors that might result in physical or emotional harm. Not all techniques work for all situations. Learn multiple methods of managing the behaviors of your loved one. In addition, you will learn what techniques to use to mange different behaviors from the scenarios provided.Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of the Huntington Woods Library.
