The weekend looks to be cool and cloudy, and you might want to grab an umbrella Saturday.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday's forecast calls for clouds, with a high near 54 degrees. Keep a jacket handy, though, because there's a 40 percent chance of showers. That makes it a perfect day to stay warm and dry inside at several events taking place in Berkley:
- Berkley Craft Show: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Berkley Community Center.
- Berkley/Huntington Woods Youth Assistance Mom 2 Mom Sale: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Berkley High School.
- Friends of the Berkley Public Library's fall book sale: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Berkley Public Library.
- Ha-Ha’s For Ta-Ta’s (Fighting Cancer With Comedy): 6:30 p.m. at Farina's Banquet Center.
Saturday night, the clouds stick around while the low dips down to a chilly 42 degrees.
Sunday, however, the skies clear up. The sun will come out, the National Weather Service says, and the high will climb to 61 degrees.
Sunday night, the lows will dip down to 46 degrees. Meanwhile, looking ahead to your Monday morning commute, the skies will be mostly sunny with a high near 65 degrees.
