Weekend Countdown: Spooky Skatetacular at Berkley Ice Arena

Halloween is a holiday that encourages the most ghoulish of imaginations.

For example, check out the at Edwards and Cummings. The home has been transformed into a haunted Halloween extravaganza that's the talk of the neighborhood. On Halloween night, the cast will be costumed, and participants may pose in a coffin with ghouls. A refreshment tent also will be available. Hot chocolate (75 cents), cider (75 cents) and doughnuts (50 cents) will be served.

• Why go: Come dressed in your favorite costume and hit the ice for some fun. A goodie bag and prizes will be given out to those dressed in creative costumes. Rent skates for just $2.
