UPDATED: Oakland County Under Flash Flood Watch

The National Weather Service says 2 more inches of rain overnight could cause flooding in already-saturated areas.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Oakland County in effect from 8 p.m. Thursday through Friday morning.

The area could receive up to 2 inches of rain overnight as more thunderstorms roll through the area, the forecasting agency said.

"Because this rainfall may affect the same locations that saw 3 to 5 inches of rainfall last night, there is an increased risk for flash floods," the NWS said Thursday.
