First, the good news: Sun is in the forecast Thursday (before snow returns for the weekend).

The first predicted snow event of the season was not all it was cracked up to be Wednesday morning in Berkley and Huntington Woods – which received a mere dusting of the white stuff overnight – but, mixed with rain, the crusty, icy coating still could make a mess for drivers.

  • The power outages: According to a DTE Energy's website, power outages in Berkley Patch were minimal Wednesday morning. One customer was without power in Huntington Woods and 23 had lost service in Berkley.
