Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain Coming; Slippery Morning Commute Expected

Expect a glazing of ice and dangerous road conditions Wednesday morning, says National Weather Service.

Be prepared for a slippery, sloppy morning commute as snow, sleet and freezing rain move into the area late tonight into tomorrow morning, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.

Snow tonight will transition to a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain after 1 a.m. as temperatures slowly warm and hover around freezing overnight.

A glazing of ice along with minor snow accumulation is expected for the Wednesday morning commute, according to the weather service. Drivers should exercise caution on the roads.
