Reading Nook: Celebrating Graduation

Berkley Public Library staffers have selected several titles for children and adults to enjoy as they reflect on this rite of passage.

A week packed with graduations—including those of and students—and a weekend busy with parties to celebrate the new grads has the milestone on many people's minds.

So, Director Celia Morse and children's librarian Karen Tower have selected several titles for children and adults to enjoy as they reflect upon this rite of passage.

  • Hold Fast Your Dreams edited by Carrie Boyko and Kimberly Cohen, 1996. A collection of wisdom, reflections and wit from prominent people ranging from Arthur Ashe to Gloria Steinem, with a few more words from Dr. Seuss.
