In , we inquired about the safety of using chemical pesticides and herbicides to maintain a stellar lawn and garden in areas where children are present.
Neal Alpiner, chief of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at , said there are some risks and urged those using the products to follow directions, communicate with neighbors and keep kids off treated areas for at least 24 hours.
