Photos: Fourth of July Fireworks Party 'Like Mayberry'

The air was thick with sparkler smoke and music Monday night in Huntington Woods as a week's worth of Fourth of July festivities wrapped up with a Concert in the Park, followed by the eagerly anticipated fireworks.

Fireworks spectators staked out spots for their blankets and lawn chairs, kids sported glow sticks and homeowners on Ludlow hosted parties before the display over .

Earlier in the day, that wound up in Scotia Park, where the festivities continued throughout the day with a hot dog roast, speeches, awards and games, then into the evening for the Concert in the Park by The Sun Messengers.

"I think things went really great," parade liaison Lisa Anderson said. "It's like Mayberry."
