Norup End of the Year Extravaganza

Why go: The event will feature food, games from around the world, bounce houses and more. Proceeds from a silent auction will be used for enrichment, academic and social development programs at the school.

Ferndale Pride

Where: Downtown Ferndale
Why go: Celebrate GLBT culture with a series of parades, marches, rallies, social events, club theme parties and other fun activities.

Walk a Mile in My Shoes Walk-a-Thon

Why go: The sixth annual walk-a-thon supports the children's program at Grace Centers of Hope, Oakland County's self-described oldest and largest homeless shelter. There also will be a children's activity tent and an awards ceremony.
