Friday Night at Berkley Days: Beer Tent, Craft Show, Midway and More

While kids enjoyed Midway rides like Himalaya and the Toboggan in the parking lot, adults had plenty of Berkley Days events to keep them busy inside the on Friday night.  

Inside the arena, the bike safety contest posters decorated the walls on the way to the ice rinks where those events were taking place. On the big ice rink, half the space was lined with craft booths with vendors selling jewelry, knit work, wooden creations and other handmade goods to patrons. The other half was home to the used book sale that boasted boxes of books from fiction to fantasy available for purchase. On the small ice rink was the beer tent, which had tables full of the over 21 crowd, talking and working on their pitchers.

Saturday: 

8 a.m.-noon:  VFW Pancake Breakfast,    Ice Rink (big ice)

9 a.m.-9 p.m.:   VFW Flag collection and sale,    Ice Rink (big ice)

9 a.m.–9 p.m.:   Used Book Sale, Ice Rink (big ice)

10 a.m.–5 p.m.:  Horseshoe Tournament, Horseshoe Court

10 a.m.–noon:   Pooch Pageant, Community Center

11 a.m.–10 p.m.:  Craft Show, Ice Rink (big ice)

11 a.m.–10 p.m.:  Food Booths, Ice Rink (big ice)

11 a.m.–11 p.m. Midway, Community Center

noon-4 p.m.:   Last Day Dog Rescue, outside Community Center

5 p.m.- midnight:  Beer Tent, Ice Rink (small ice)

Sunday:  

8 a.m.-noon VFW Pancake Breakfast, Ice Rink (big ice)

9 a.m.-5 p.m. VFW flag collection and sales, Ice Rink (big ice)

9 a.m.-5 p.m. Used Book Sale, Ice Rink (big ice)

noon-2 p.m. Punt, Pass and Kick competition sponsored by the Berkley Steelers, Hurley Field

Noon-4 p.m. Petting Zoo,  outside Community Center
