Beat the Holiday Blues

CANA Lutheran Church in Berkley will hold a free Blue Christmas service from 4 to 5 p.m. today.

The holidays are meant to be a joyful time but, for those struggling with grief or loss – whether of a loved one, job or home – this can be a season filled with sadness.

To help folks coping with stress or depression, in Berkley will hold a free Blue Christmas service from 4 to 5 p.m. today. Participants will have the opportunity to quietly reflect on God's presence in their lives during difficult times and remember the losses they have encountered.

If you can't attend the service, but need some advice, visit the Mayo Clinic's website to read "Stress, depression and the holidays: Tips for coping."
