However, since Berkley-Huntington Woods' launch we've worked hard to provide comprehensive community coverage and always love it when you love us back. Here are some new and not-so-new tools at your disposal to participate in Patch and enhance your experience on the site:

There are numerous user-friendly ways to directly contribute to Berkely Patch and share important news and information with the community:

Start a Local Voices Blog

Berkely Patch is more than a news site, it's an online conversation about your community. We'll ask you to share your expertise or observations on certain topics, but you write when you want to write, and there is no subject or word-count requirements to worry about. Patch also won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to your other blogs. Much like The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local people an online platform to have their words read by a larger audience.

Own a business in Berkley or Huntington Woods, or are you a dedicated employee lucky enough to be working at one? Either way, it's imperative that you find the company's or organization's free listing in Patch Places. The listing gives readers a short introduction on what the business does and where it's located, but there's so much more available to savvy entrepreneurs who claim their listing.
