Oxford Inn in Royal Oak: The Main Street restaurant may be getting a country-style makeover and a new name to boot. Owner Bob Higgins, whose family hails from Erin, TN, is asking the Liquor Control Committee and the Royal Oak City Commission for permission to rename the eatery Bobby's Nashville Bar and Grill. Higgins also hopes to capitalize on the popularity of country music and food by updating the menu and offering live music. The waitstaff would dress in jeans with cowboy hats and kerchiefs and the decor will offer southern accents, Higgins said.
