Learn to Paint and Party Like You're Andy Warhol

Berkley's June Moon Furniture is now offering Andy Warhol-inspired paint parties for special occasions or just a day out with friends.

As part of June Moon Furniture’s mid-century modern theme, the store is  now offering Pop Art-Warhol inspired painting parties in the store.

Andy Warhol was an American artist who was known in the visual arts word for his Pop Art. His work explored the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished in the mid 1960s. Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist. The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, PA, is the largest permanent museum in the United States dedicated to a single artist.

“You don't need to be an artist or fear that you'll make a mistake with our canvas because they come with guides much like paint-by-numbers,” owner Maureen Popkin said in a news release. “Artists-to-be of all ages can send in a photo and we’ll transform it into a guided paint-your-own Pop Art canvas or choose from one of our stock photos.”
