Business owners band to together to beautify the area around their shops.

Members of the Coolidge Collection of businesses in Berkley and other volunteers took to the streets recently to spruce up the flower beds and streetfronts on Coolidge in Berkley.

"The businesses here in the Coolidge Collection are awesome!," said Maureen Popkin, owner of in Berkely. "We come together socially to interact with our families and have developed a great bond."

The collection of businesses is planning a special free "customer appreciation" concert June 9 to coincide with the .
