Berkley Pub Crawl Moves from Fall to Summer

The annual Chamber of Commerce celebration will be held Aug. 25 to take advantage of nice weather and outdoor patios.

What could make the annual Berkley Pub Crawl even better? The Chamber of Commerce has an idea: A change of season.

This year, the pub crawl — which aims to boost Berkley's profile and raise funds for the Chamber of Commerce to reinvest in the community — will be held Aug. 25 instead of the first week of October.

"We're really excited about moving it to August because all of the venues have outdoor spaces to use," said Julie Melrose, the chamber's executive director.
