Students represent BHS in District IV Honors Band

Berkley High School band was well represented at District IV Honors Band last weekend.

Last weekend, five students from the Berkley High School band participated in the Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association (MSBOA) District IV Honors band and honors jazz band.

The two-day event, which brings together top musicians from area high schools, was held at Clarkston High School. Students chosen must apply and have a state level rating to participate. Out of 21 school districts, 87 were chosen for honors band, and 18 for jazz band.

Congratulations to this year's BHS students who were selected to participate: Phillip Ring, Zachary Schildcrout, Ryan Schildcrout, David Germaine and Sydney Oliva.
