What Are the Start Dates for Michigan Universities?

Many state schools are beginning the fall semester on different days this year, working around Labor Day weekend.

As the summer comes to an end and the fall approaches, college students in Berkley and Huntington Woods will head back to their campuses.

While some of the universities have chosen to begin classes before Labor Day on Sept. 2, others have decided to wait until after the long weekend to officially start the fall semester.  Here is a list of just a few of our surrounding universities and their fall starting dates:

Eastern Michigan University: Sept. 4

Michigan Technological University: Sept. 3

Northern Michigan University:  Aug. 26

Walsh College: Sept. 25
