Weekend Countdown: 'Project X: The Musical'
The teen production that opens Thursday at the Huntington Woods Public Library explores the trials of middle school.

- Why go: Ryan Hurley and his best friend, Eric Gelb, are co-creators of the musical about four teenagers entering middle school. The students say the show tackles difficult subjects such as popularity, peer pressure, betrayal and staying true to yourself.
