'So You Think You Can Dance' 2013 Auditions Coming to Detroit

Try out for the reality television show – or just get in on the fun – Feb. 11 at Saint Andrew's Hall.

The following information was provided by So You Think You Can Dance.

Over the last eight years So You Think You Can Dance has showcased talent from all over the world of dance – everything from stunning classical ballet to mind-boggling street animation. We’ve put young aspiring dancers front and center, giving them a platform to launch their careers. Our alumni have gone on to work throughout the entertainment industry – on tours with major artists, in Broadway and television shows and films.

Now we’re asking for your help in providing us talent to inspire the next generation of dancers. All we’re asking you to do is please pass this information on to your dance community and encourage as many as you can to gain the experience of our auditions.

It costs nothing to try out and, just by showing up, a dancer can gain audition experience and make valuable connections with other dancers from a wide range of different backgrounds. Only people between the ages of 18 and 30 can audition, but anyone can attend as an audience member to witness the positive and encouraging experience of over two full days of dancing that unfortunately we never have the time to completely feature on television.

For all of our audition information please see below and visit www.fox.com/dance.
