Satisfy your sweet tooth by picking up some tasty treats during the Valentine's Day Bake Sale from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in the lobby.
The event will be put on by the Friends of the Library; proceeds will benefit the library. If sweets aren't your thing, the library's website offers some other ways you can show you care.
"In 2002 the library's book budget was $75,000. Today it is $36,000, less than half what it once was," the website reads. "You can help the library by 'adopting' a book, or audiobook on CD. A bookplate honoring your donation will be placed in the the book, and a heart with your name on it will be hung on display in the library. Remember your donations to the library are tax deductible. Forms can be found online or at the library circulation desk."
