Berkley High School Drama presents 'Arsenic and Old Lace'

Arsenic and Old Lace is a classic dark comedy of two elderly sisters who live together.

They are a well-off family with three nephews: Mortimer, a drama critic, Teddy, who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt, and Jonathan, a criminal who has had his face changed three times (currently looking like Boris Karloff). From the outside they look like a semi-normal family.

The sisters are well known for their hospitality and their charities. The charity not as well known? Their affinity to poison lonely, old gentlemen with elderberry wine with "one teaspoon of arsenic, a half teaspoon of strychnine, and a pinch of cyanide."

Hilarity ensues as everything seems to fall apart around Mortimer.

Tickets are available 30 minutes before curtain. Cost is  $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.
